The AMF chemical butterfly valve was designed for the specific application of transportation of various acids, with extra safety features and hard-wearing sealing solution.
Our stainless steel butterfly valve provides excellent sealing performance due to the double eccentric design; the sealing disc moves away from the seat immediately after opening, reducing friction and wear on the seat and seal, thereby extending the valve’s service life.
The valve main body has 8 through holes @ 150mm BCD for the secure fitment between to pipe flanges alongside a PTFE seal/envelope gasket. In addition, the handle is designed with two locking positions to ensure safe operating conditions.
The AMF chemical butterfly valve is fitted as a secondary valve in conjunction with the AMF emergency valve serving as the primary valve. The butterfly valve offers back-up to the primary valve and can be used in bottom loading environments.
